Is Hell Real? Concordance

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called. Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.- Tanakh, Isaiah 9:6

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God,smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way;and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Tanakh, Isaiah 53

“Seventy ‘sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy. “Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,' and sixty-two ‘sevens.' It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. After the sixty-two ‘sevens,' the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Tanakh, Daniel 9:25-27a.

. . . you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. Tanakh, Psalm 16:10

David rested with his fathers and was buried in the City of David-1 Kings 2:10; nor was King David "Holy"-2 Samuel 11-12

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' " Then they remembered his words.-Luke 24:1-8

Jesus began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again. He spoke plainly about this, and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. "Get behind me, Satan!" he said. "You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men." Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels. Mark 8:31-38

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor" Tanakh, Isaiah 61:1-2a; Luke 4:18-21

And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son Tanakh, Zechariah 12:10, Psalm 22:16

The Gospel Of The Kingdom Of God Proclomation During the Life Of Historical Jesus First Century Jews Knew As Yeshua.'

Yeshua (Hebrew), or Jesus (English) was sent from heaven, took on flesh, and dwelled with mankind during the first century to fulfill that Genesis 3:15 gospel of the kingdom declaration to progressively reestablish righteous rule on earth as it is in heaven based upon love and serving one another under God's kingship, and ultimately to restore all things as intended "in the beginning." God intended for mankind to be clothed in His glory, have authority and dominion over a creation free from sin and death under his kingship. His holy kingdom was and is characterized by truth and righteousness, joy, peace, mutual serving and love. The love relationship between God and ALL the people he created was intended to be a mutual; not mandatory. Faith is based upon love. As such, God provided an option to believe in accordance with his expressed will, or not believe in accordance with his permissive will.

It is noteworthy that in the beginning Adam and Eve had no inherent sin nature motivating them since there was no power of sin operating within their members. Moreover, God could have kept Adam and Eve from falling. He was able and capable of keeping Adam and Eve who He loved from falling by grace through faith. The issue wasn't God's inability or unwillingness. Rather, it was an issue of each person exercising or not exercising their God-given faith. God honored Adam and Eve's free-will choice to believe or not to believe. Unfortunately, mankind lost authority, dominion, and righteous rule over all things under God's kingship when Adam and Eve fell as a result of actions that demonstrated their unbelief. Then, sin and death entered, and an egotistical driven selfish sin nature was inherited and passed from one generation to the next. With it, man's judgment became stifled, his morals tainted and his reasoning twisted. Man's motives compromised right rule on earth even under the best of intentions. His or her inability to keep the whole law outwardly let alone inwardly by failing to subdue the things in opposition to the kingdom of God within them such as an impure thought life attests to this fact. For example, coveting or committing adultery in one's heart is among many examples of hidden sins that defile one from Holy God. In other words, the very mind and soul of man was corrupted by the sin coming between them and God. Even the creation was negatively impacted when sin and death entered with the fall of man. No longer did the wolf lay down with the lamb. The creation was out of order.

The impacts of sin and death were/are not only temporal, but eternal. This means a person still separated from holy God in their sin when their physical body died remained separated from God and all that is good for all eternity. Sin (Anything Jesus wouldn't endorse or do), death, sickness, disease, and poverty are all non-existent in God's Holy Kingdom in heaven. They will not be tolerated there, and these things were non-existent on earth until sin and death entered through unbelief. Originally prepared for the devil and fallen angels-not people (Matthew 35:41), the eternal abode for those eternally separated from Holy God by their sin was described by prophets coming well before Yeshua's public ministry as the place of fire (Isaiah 33:14; 66:24), worms (Isaiah 66:24), and never ending torment (Isaiah 33:14). The eternal abode for those eternally separated from Holy God is very bad news, and Jesus talked quite a bit about it in agreement with those coming before his first century ministry.

The Good News of the Kingdom of God is that Messiah Jesus came from heaven to earth to put things back in divine order as intended in the beginning honoring both God's expressed will and permissive will without compromising either. Yeshua' is the "bruised heel" and “seed of the woman” coming from God identified as "He" in that Genesis 3:15 Gospel of the Kingdom of God promise to seek and save the lost from the penalty and power of sin among other things pertaining the kingdom of God. This page is dedicated to Yeshua the Jewish Messiah unto the nations, and explores the Biblical (Tanack & New Testament) record of his first century ministry and that Gospel of the Kingdom message in accordance with those coming before and after.

Three Gospel of the Kingdom Components: Reigning in, Reigning Through, and Reigning with Man.

The Gospel of the Kingdom of God consists of three major components predicated upon the "bruised heel" and “seed of the woman” coming from God identified as "He"-Messiah Jesus. Yeshua came to redeem from sin and death all who are willing to be a people of God in order to reign in them through the power of the Holy Spirit (component one), to reign in and through the redeemed through the power of the Holy Spirit in redeeming partnership on earth as it is in heaven prior to the kingdom's final consummation (component two), and to ultimately reign over all heaven and earth concurrently with the redeemed in him by the power of the Holy Spirit in the end of things under His Kingship as intended "in the beginning" (component three). Therefore, Yeshua was not merely a great prophet or teacher; Yeshua was/is the meeting place reconciling sinful man with Holy God that came down from heaven to earth in which all Levitical sacrifices, feasts, symbols, and types point (John 14:6; John 1:51, Genesis 28:17, John 2:21; John 8:24); to the Jew first, and then the Gentiles identifying with them in covenant hopes (Isaiah 11:10; Isaiah 49:6-8; Isaiah 52:15; Isaiah 42:6; Isaiah 53:6; Psalm 2:7-8; ).

The Seed-Taking on Humanity to Redeem Hellbound Humans:

Yeshua, also called Isa' or Jesus, became a man to redeem sinners, or save hell bound humans from sin and death. This isn't an idea developing after historical Yeshua of the first century. Yeshua himself claimed to be deity incarnate in several ways. He called himself the "Son of God" (John 10:36). While the expression “son of God” or “daughter of God” is often used in a general sense, Yeshua claimed to be the Unique Son of God mentioned in the scriptures coming before the first century; not as a result of a sexual union but incarnated (John 10:36, cf. John 3:16, Psalm 2:7-8, Genesis 3:15 ). In fact, the English word “begotten” was translated from the Greek “Monogones” in John 3:16, and “monogones” simpy means Jesus was unique or one of a kind. Indeed, Yeshua is unique in terms of who He was before he came to Earth. Yeshua is “monogones,” one of a kind, or unique in how He came to Earth in obscurity as a result of supernatural NON-sexual conception. Yeshua is unique in the reason he came to Earth with no biological earthly father under the law to redeem those condemned by sin. Yeshua is unique because of who he was in heaven as deity before his birth on earth as a human male. Indeed, history is flooded with examples of mere people claiming to attain deity. Yeshua is deity who became a man. He was, and is the God man. In fact, Jesus considered the expression “Monogones” meaning “Unique Son of God” synonymous with "Son of Man," and used them interchangeably to denote deity applying them to Himself (Matthew 16:13, 16-17; cf. Luke 22:69-70).

Jesus referred to himself as the "Son of Man" (John 9:35-37), which is a title referring to deity incarnate, deity taking on humanity, or deity becoming man. That is why one can know with confidence that the absence of the definite article “a” in the ancient Greek manuscripts for John 1:1 is consistent with Jesus' own teaching where you read "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. . . And the word became flesh" (John 1:1; John 1:14 cf. Philippians 2:5-11). Therefore, this is not something theologians coming much later introduced and embellished for Jesus claimed a righteous, holy and eternal state prior to becoming a man (John 3:13-omnipresent, John 3:31; John 6:38, 41, 62; John 7:29; John 8:23). In another instance, Jesus claimed to exist before Abraham explicitly and Moses implicitly as deity (John 8:58. cf. Exodus 3:14). He said he was the true meeting place or eternal temple of God (John 1:51, Genesis 28:17; cf. John 2:19-22 & John 14:6). Moreover, the Son of Man being deity incarnate is confirmed when Jesus claimed that he has power/authority to impart life (John 5:21) judge (John 5:27) and forgive sins as the Son of Man (Mark 2:7-10, Matthew 9:6, Luke 5:24, 7:48; cf Isaiah 43:25). Even the religious clerics understood the claim of deity Jesus was making about himself in each instance (Mark 2:6-7; Luke 5:21; John 10:31-33; John 8:59). This notion of the Son of Man being deity incarnate, although obscure, was introduced before the first century (Daniel 7:13-14). In fact, Jesus quoted the prophet Daniel three times in showing prophetic continuity between himself and his already/not yet Gospel of the kingdom message. Already/not yet will be explained under the subheading “Redeeming Plan” below.

Yeshua is also unique among men in that he was/is sinless (John 8:46), and therefore, holy in the truest sense. In spite of who he was/is it is noteworthy that Jesus was not pretentious. Instead he was humble, compassionate and revealed who he was as deity incarnate as a matter of fact for the saving of souls (Matthew 11:28-29, Philippians 2:6-8, Isaiah 42:3, Isaiah 53:2, John 3:15-18). He is the God-man kinsman redeemer (John 8:24) claiming himself to be the fulfillment of the scriptures, or Tanach (John 5:39, Matthew 5:17-20, Luke 24:44-47). On one hand, Jesus as deity was and is from eternity to eternity. On the other, Jesus as the seed of the woman in his humanity is from the first century. Yeshua is deity who became a man fulfilling Genesis 3:15. He was and is the God man; the Holy One from God-The Messiah.

The Deed-Taking on Humanity to Redeem Hellbound Humans:

Yeshua was sent from heaven to earth by way of Bethlehem the city of David where he was born a baby (Micah 5:2, Luke 2:4), and was reared in Nazareth as a Jewish boy. Moreover, Yeshua arrived on earth after Herod's temple was complete, and he was "cut off" in death to make an end of transgressions then resurrected from the dead in A.D. 32 before the temple's physical destruction occurring in A.D. 70 in accordance with the prophets prophets (cf.Daniel 9:25 Nehemiah 2:8 Matthew 24:2, Mark 13:2, Luke 21:6). He was a physical descendant of Abraham and David, and belongs to the tribe of Judah . Before Yeshua's began his public ministry around A.D. 29 and at age thirty, John the Baptist was the spirit of Elijah in Malachi 3:1 (Matthew 11:14, cf. 17:13) attributing Isaiah 40:3 to himself as he paved the way for Yeshua's Messianic arrival by declaring Yeshua as the fulfillment of the gospel of the kingdom of God message in covenants, law, and as the Messianic seed of Abraham. John the Baptist's proclamation was to embrace Yeshua as "the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). In due course, John the Baptist taught that Yeshua would baptize in the Holy Spirit and fire, that he would save the wheat and burn the chaff in unquenchable fire (Luke 3:15-17). Yeshua became a man to redeem sinners, or save hell bound humans from sin and death and from “unquenchable fire.” This is not an idea developing after historical Yeshua.

Yeshua himself claimed to be deity incarnate for the purpose of dying in the place of sinners to redeem those humans who would receive it by grace through faith from sin, death and hell in restoration of their intended purpose in the beginning. Jesus himself predicted the unique nature and circumstances of his death on many occasions before it occurred while in the vicinity of Caesarea Philippi (Matthew 16:21-23, Mark 8:31-33, Luke 9:22), following his transfiguration experience (Matthew 17:9B, Mark 9:9B), later in Galilee (Matthew 17:22-23, Mark 9:30-32 Luke 9:43), on the way to Jerusalem (Matthew 20:17-19, Mark 10:32-34, Luke 18:31-33) and in Jerusalem (John 8:28, cf. Luke 22:15-16). Jesus also predicted his resurrection within a three day period well in advance of the event (Matthew 12:40, Matthew 16:21b, Mark 8:31b, Luke 9:22b, Matthew 20:19, Mark 10:34, Luke 18:33), which is another way of claiming he would be physically dead (Matthew 17:9B, Mark 9:9B cf. Matthew 26:32, Mark 14:28, John 16:28). A resurrected from the dead Messiah, although obscure, is found in the Tanack (cf Isaiah 53, Psalm 16:10, Psalm 110:4). Jesus died for you (John 3:13-18, John 3:36, John 10:17-18) and said elsewhere, "You shall die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins" in a discussion having to do with his deity/incarnation for sinners (John 8:58-59, cf John 8:24).

The Need-Taking on Humanity to Redeem Hellbound Humans:

Before God could reign in, through, and with man under his kingship as intended, God had to resolve the sin separating them from Him (spiritual death). The notion of a sin barrier coming between God and man is not something introduced by theologians coming after historical Jesus either. Isaiah preceded Yeshua by seven centuries, and he recorded that “your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you . . . “ (Isaiah 59:2). The magnitude of this sin problem is important to understand for the Tanachk reveals that all Jews, Gentiles and nations have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Isaiah 53:6, Isaiah 64:6, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Psalm 53:3, cf. Romans 3:23). Even the Psalmist asks, “ Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place” (Psalm 24:3; cf. Psalm 24:10 & Psalm 110:1). Only the Messiah is holy, or sinless (John 8:46, cf. Psalm 16:10), and therefore “Lord” (Psalm 110:1). That is why David who sinned in the matter of Bathsheba and Uriah (2 Samuel 11:3-4, 2 Samuel 11:14-17, & 2 Samuel 12:7, 13); nor Israel the nation can be the subject of Isaiah 52:13-15 or Isaiah 53 (cf. Isaiah 58:1). Yeshua is the holy “servant” baring the iniquities and sprinkling the nations (Isaiah 52:13-15, Isaiah 42:1, Isaiah 53:6, 8, & 12). Therefore, all mankind except Messiah Yeshua are sinners from different extents.

The Tanachk also declares that the wages of sin is death (Ezekiel 18:4, 20, Jeremiah 31:29, cf. Rom 6:23), which is why a fellow sinner is not qualified to redeem another fellow sinner (Ezekiel 18:20, Jeremiah 31:29). God created a framework for understanding that people would apprehend and receive the atonement and redemption for their souls when His exclusive means for redemption through Messiah Yeshua was revealed to them. The Day of Atonement, Passover and Levitical sacrificial system served as ongoing reminders regarding the need to resolve the sin barrier coming between God and man on individual and national levels through the sacrificial death and blood of a worthy substitution for sinners. God told Moses, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul” (Leviticus 17:11, cf. Leviticus 4:35, 10:17). You are a sinner, and therefore, not only need atonement but redeeming. We are all sinners from different extents. But, God, although hating sin, loves sinners (John 3:16, cf. Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:10). As sinners, man is helpless and powerless to “save” themselves. God Himself had to redeem man. That is why the prophet Isaiah declared the coming Messiah as “God with us.” (Isaiah 59:16; Isaiah 7:14; cf. Matthew 1:21).

Holy Yeshua/Jesus was sent from heaven, took on flesh, and dwelled with unholy mankind during the first century in fulfilling that Genesis 3:15 gospel of the kingdom declaration to redeem from sin and death all who are willing to be a people of God in order to reign in them through the power of the Holy Spirit (component one), to reign in/through the redeemed through the power of the Holy Spirit in a redeeming partnership on earth as it is in heaven prior to the kingdom's final consummation (component two), and to ultimately reign over all heaven and earth concurrently with the redeemed in him by the power of the Holy Spirit in the end of things under His Kingship as intended "in the beginning" (component three). Yeshua was not merely a great prophet or teacher; Yeshua was/is the meeting place and I AM . . . that came down from heaven to earth reconciling sinful man with Holy God in which all Levitical sacrifices, feasts, symbols, and types point (John 14:6; John 2:21; John 8:24); to the Jew first, and then the Gentiles identifying with them in covenant hopes (Isaiah 11:10; Psalm 2:7-8). Yeshua is the holy “servant” baring the iniquities and sprinkling the nations (Isaiah 52:13-15, Isaiah 42:1, Isaiah 53:6, 8, & 12).

Mankind had to be redeemed from the effects of sin, the wages for sin (death), and the penalty for sin (hell) and be reconciled with the Great Jehovah God (Who Is eternal Father, Son/Word, and Holy Spirit) through his death/blood giving those trusting Him eternal life. Jesus put it this way, "You must be born again," or "born of the spirit" (John 3:3-8 cf. John 4:23-24). Otherwise, a person still separated from holy God in their sin when their physical body died remained separated from God, and all that is good for all eternity. Sin (Anything Jesus wouldn't endorse or do), death, sickness, disease, poverty are all non-existent in God's Holy Kingdom in heaven. These things were non-existent on earth in the beginning, and before Adam and Eve fell as a result of actions that demonstrated their unbelief. Sin has to be resolved.

The eternal abode for those eternally separated from Holy God in sin is very bad news, and Jesus talked quite a bit about it in agreement with those coming before his first century ministry. This was not and is not God's desire or intention for mankind. The eternal abode for those eternally separated from Holy God is very bad news. The Good News of the Kingdom of God is that Messiah Jesus came from heaven to earth to put things back in divine order as intended in the beginning honoring both God's expressed will and permissive will without compromising either. Yeshua' is the "bruised seed" of the woman coming from God identified as "He" in that Genesis 3:15 Gospel of the Kingdom of God promise.

In the previous paragraphs the seed, deed, and need for the incarnation of Messiah is explained. In the next paragraphs I will explain how Jesus' substitionary death redeems people, redeems their intended purpose, and redeems God's plan for reigning in, through, and ultimately with man.

Reedeming People

Jesus lived a substitutionary life of passive and active obedience for sinners under God's law, and while being sinless himself, Yeshua died a substitutionary death for sinners condemned as sinners by God's law from different extents. Yeshua laid his life down for you and me in the month of Nissan (April) A.D. 32 in Jerusalem on the Eve of Passover (Friday) (John 10:15; John 19:14; Daniel 9:25, Isaiah 53:1-12). He did not deserve to die on his own merits according to the disciple who betrayed him (Matthew 27:4), the reluctant Roman governor (Matthew 27:18, John 18:38, John 19:4), members of the execution detail (Luke 23:47), and even criminals being put to death on the same day (Luke 23:41).

Yeshua paid the penalty for sin on behalf of the sinner, took upon himself their sin in accordance with the atonement concept, and the righteousness of Messiah Yeshua is imputed in exchange. His righteous becomes the righteousness of those trusting Him for redemption, placing their allegiance in Him and following Him alone. Moreover, Yeshua was resurrected on the third day (Sunday) on the feast of First Fruits to reign forever as High Priest of God on our behalf in the New Covenant sealed in His blood, that man and the spirit and soul of man could be reconciled with God through His Holy Spirit. This is important for His ongoing ministry of imputing his righteous life and Holy enablement empowers one to do by nature the things of the law by grace through faith in accordance with the New Covenant. In this way God redeemed from sin, presently redeems from sin, and will redeem from sin all those identifying with him as their Lord and Savior alone by grace through faith.

Assent and Biblical belief are two different things. A person acknowledging their sin, believing in Jesus to the extent of committing to follow him as Lord and Savior alone, and confessing Yeshua as their personal ransom appropriates this redemption on an individual level. Jesus speaking of himself said, “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not OBEY the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36, emphasis mine). In other words, faith-prompted works demonstrate Biblical belief (John 6:29, cf. James 2:17-26). That is why elsewhere it is recorded that Jesus “saw their faith” (Mark 2:12; Luke 5:12; Matthew 9:2).

Jesus also redeemed people “by his stripes” from those things hindering and tormenting mankind that were non-existent in the beginning (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24). The basis for deliverance and healing are tied back to Messiah's atonement. In fact, Yeshua claimed his healing and deliverance ministry was just another part of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God coming to pass on earth as it is in heaven in part during his first century ministry and in part among those following Him (Mark 16:15-18), but totally upon the kingdom's final consummation with his second return.

He began his public ministry in the first century by citing the prophet Isaiah stating, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor" (Isaiah 61:1-2a; Luke 4:18-21). It is noteworthy that when Jesus read this passage in the synagogue at Nazareth in 29 AD he stopped at Isaiah 61:2a and proclaimed "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your ears" indicating the final consummation associated with the prevalent messianic end times expectations also described in Isaiah's prophetic scroll were still in futuristic terms even during Jesus' earthly ministry.

Jesus not only taught that he would be cut off in death before the messianic expectation of end-time restoration would be accomplished in fulfillment of the scriptures, but cites Isaiah 53:1 indicating he was nevertheless fulfilling messianic prophecy in which all restoration is predicated upon in God's economy (John 12:32-33). Therefore, this passage in Isaiah bears out the good news of God's kingdom included redeeming people from sickness and disease. That is what accompanied his message of the good news of the kingdom of God .

Everywhere Jesus traveled he preached the kingdom of God (Luke 9:10, Matthew 9:35), and anywhere from a few to masses of people were delivered and healed through his ministry. Here are some references pertaining to his healing ministry. Yeshua healed Simon's mother-in-law and many from Capernaum (Matthew 8:16, Mark 1:29, Luke 4:39), those in need from Syria (Matthew 4:24), a leper by the Sea of Galilee (Matthew 8:3, Mark 1:40-45, Luke 5:12-13), a paralytic from Capernaum (Matthew 9:1-8, Mark 2:1-12, Luke 5:17-26), a cripple person in Jerusalem (John 5:9), a withered hand at a Galilean synagogue (Matthew 12:13, Mark 3:5, Luke 6:10), all needing healing following him to the Sea of Galilee (Matthew 12:15, Mark 3:10), all those touching him from "Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon" (Luke 6:17-19), a Roman centurion's servant while in Capernaum (Luke 7:1-10, Matthew 8:5-13), sick female associates of Mary Magdalene in Galilee (Luke 8:2), a blind and deaf demon possessed man in Galilee on another occasion (Matthew 12:22), a blind man at Bethsaida (Mark 8:22), a woman bent over for eighteen years (Luke 13:10-12), Jairus' daughter in Galilee (Matthew 9:18-26, Luke 8:48, Mark 5:34) a woman with internal bleeding (Matthew 9:22, Luke 8:43, Mark 5:29), two blind men in Galilee (Matthew 9:29), all those needing healing in the synagogues, villages and cities during his final Galilean campaign (Matthew 9:35), all those touching the fringe of his garment at Gennesaret (Matthew 14:36, Mark 6:56), a man with dropsy while having supper (Luke 14:4), ten lepers while traveling between Samaria and Galilee (Luke 17:11-17), blind Bartimaeus from Jericho (Matthew 20:34, Mark 10:52, and Luke 18:43), the blind and lame coming to him in the temple (Matthew 21:14), a centurion that came to arrest him (Luke 22:50-52), and others. Everywhere Jesus traveled he preached the kingdom of God (Luke 9:11, Matthew 9:35), and anywhere from a few to masses of people were delivered and healed through his ministry.

Everywhere Jesus traveled he preached the kingdom of God people were delivered and healed from the influence and torments associated with the demonic realm through his ministry (Luke 9:11, Matthew 9:35). Here are some references for your information: Jesus delivered a man (Luke 4:36, Mark 1:27) and many others that were demonized from Capernaum (Matthew 8:16, Mark 1:32-34, Luke 4:41), the man from Gergesenes (Matthew 8:32, Mark 5:13, Luke 8:33) a deaf man that was demonized (Matthew 9:32), the Canaanite woman's daughter (Matthew 15:21-18, Mark 7:24-30), the demoniac boy (Matthew 17:18, Mark 9:25, Luke 9:42), healed another from dumbness caused by a demonic spirit (Luke 11:14), and others. Interestingly, many of these demonic spirits being evicted from the human temple that was intended to be a dwelling place for the Spirit of God knew Jesus was more than just a great prophet. They recognized Jesus for who He is: The Unique Son of God, or deity incarnate (cf. Mark 1:24, Luke 4:34, 42, Mark 3:11, Luke 8:2, Matthew 8:29, Mark 5:7, Luke 8:28). After all, they knew Him before Jesus took on humanity and before they were thrown down from heaven (Luke 10:18; cf. Rev 12:4). Careful study of these passages indicates that not all illnesses are caused by unclean spirits of infirmity, or demons. However, some illness in certain cases is indeed a result of people being afflicted by trafficking demons. Excellent resources are available by ministers that offer Biblical, balanced and practical treatment of this subject as it applies today. In any case, everywhere Jesus traveled he preached the kingdom of God and people were delivered and healed from the influence and torments associated with the demonic realm through his ministry (Luke 9:11, Matthew 9:35). Here's what is striking: Jesus said to religious experts criticizing him, "If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you " (Matthew 12:28, cf. Luke 11:20; emphasis mine). The Gospel of the Kingdom of God included healing and deliverance. Therefore, Jesus redeemed, is redeeming, and will continue to redeem those persevering in their belief in Him intends by grace through faith. As wonderful as that really is, there is a whole lot more to the Gospel of the kingdom of God than Messiah Yeshua saving man FROM the penalty of sin, or hell. Saving or redeeming man from hell can not be minimized, but Yeshua saved man from hell for the purpose of reigning in, through, and with man on earth as it is in heaven.

Reedeming Purpose (Reigning in Redeemed Man)

Mankind had to be redeemed from sin, death, and hell and be reconciled with the Great Jehovah God (Who Is eternal Father, Son/Word, and Holy Spirit) through his death/blood giving those trusting Him eternal life, and in order to reign in man. Why? Man was created in God's image with the express purpose of being LIKE God in the beginning (Genesis 1:26-28). Note: The devil is the author of the notion that you can BECOME God (Genesis 3:5); that is what he wants. He hates God, those created in His image, and he resents man who was placed over him (Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 14:12-16; cf. Revelation 12:4; 1 Corinthians 6:3). Man was not created to become God, but to be like Him under His kingship. After sin and death entered, an egotistical driven selfish sin nature was inherited and passed from one generation to the next. With it, man's judgment became stifled, his morals tainted and his reasoning twisted. Man's motives compromised right rule on earth as it is in heaven even under the best of intentions. Man's inability to keep the whole law in their actions and/or inwardly subduing things in opposition to the kingdom of God such as an impure thought life made making a New Covenant or Brit necessary. Like Moses coming before (Deuteronomy 18:15-18; Acts 3:22; cf John 5:46), Yeshua introduced this New Covenant in His blood (Exodus 24:8; Matthew 26:28; Mark 14:24). Moreover, this New Covenant predicated upon Yeshua's redemptive death pledged, in part, to redeem mankind from the penalty of sin (waterless pit/hell), the power of sin, and subsequently empower them with the ability to be the people of God in their character and actions; not just in outward ceremonial expressions (Jeremiah 31:32, Zechariah 9:11, Hebrews 7:22; 8:1-13). God in Messiah Yeshua justifies (something religious law can not do), and empowers us to practice righteousness with newness of life (something religious law can not do) unto salvation (something religious law can not do)-All of this by grace (God's initiative) through faith (man's response) (cf. Romans 8:3-4). Yeshua is not like some of the so-called teachers and prophets failing to identify with both their God and their people in their intercessor-related responsibilities (Ezekiel 13:3-23; 22:30, Ex 32:32, Daniel 9:4ff, Genesis 9:23, Isaiah 59:16). Instead, Yeshua condescended into the breaches of humanity saying, “This is my body broken for you.” He is the Great Intercessor who rebuilds the broken walls of your life. How does this New Covenant in His blood translate into the human experience according to Jesus' teaching?

After Messiah Yeshua ascended into heaven he assumed his place as active High Priest of God on our behalf living to intercede for those drawing near to God through Him (Matthew 26:64; Luke 22:69; Mark 16:19; Acts 2:33-34; Hebrews 7:24-25), and He sent the Holy Spirit of God as He promised to, in part, enable those drawing near to God through Him to be the people of God (John 14:16, cf Hebrews 8:10ff). Right before Jesus was killed, buried, and resurrected from the dead he promised, “I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Comforter that he may be with you forever; the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him, or know Him. You know Him because He abides with you and will be in you (John 14:16-17; cf. John 16:4-16). After Jesus was resurrected from the dead and before he ascended to the heavenly Holy of Holies he appeared to his disciples and told them not to leave Jerusalem , but “wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but you will be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days from now” (Luke 24:49). The fulfillment of this unique promise was immanent (cf. Acts 1:4-5). Most of the disciples already received the Holy Spirit (John 20:22; cf. 1 Corinthians 12:13), but were not baptized with subsequent endument in the Holy Spirit until fifty days after Jesus' resurrection, or on the Jewish Feast of Pentecost (Acts 2:4-47, cf. Joel 2:28-30). Moreover, they would continue to receive help from the Holy Spirit in accordance with the ongoing mediation of their risen Lord and Savior in his ongoing role as high priest in heaven empowering them to be and do all that God intends (Psalm 110:1-5) As a side, this indwelling and empowering means of grace now abiding in them was unique to their experience, and leaves a person claiming to belong to God through Jesus but persevering in habitual sin in the future without excuse.

Therefore, the Gospel of the Kingdom of God entails Jesus coming to put his house in order on many levels, and that includes the total person created to bare the image of God. In other words, Jesus empowers people to be a holy people of God, and to be sound in their mind, body, and soul. It is in the atonement. That is why the “glad tidings” Isaiah and Yeshua proclaimed includes healing, deliverance, and/or empowering one to live above their circumstances, and are ways Messiah reigns in man through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Often when Messiah comes to put a house in order some besetting hindrances are broken off immediately out of necessity or sheer mercy. Other hindrances have to be subdued by the individual over a period of time by grace through faith. In the latter case an individual may be learning to subdue the enemies of his/her own soul by appropriating the newly available means of grace in the power of the Holy Spirit, and in preparation for Messiah to reign through them in their sphere of influence to greater extents (cf. Romans 5:1-4; Second Corinthians 12:9-10). Sometimes one does not appropriate healing/deliverance for a long time, or not at during the time BEFORE the total consummation of God's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. While God does not cause sickness and disease, he can reign in all circumstances even where appropriating deliverance /healing are delayed and in spite of great faith for redemptive reasons beyond our ability to perceive (Consider John the Baptist Matthew 14:10; cf. Hebrews 11:35b-40). Click here for more. In each instance, though, God seeks to reign in, and through man in accordance with his redeeming the intended purposes for man in the beginning.

It is noteworthy that the measure and strength of this divine empowerment to be and do what God intends varies for each individual, but is always sufficient for the one abiding in Him in accordance with His expressed and/or permissive will (cf 2 Cor 12:9; Ephesians 4:30). That does not mean we are exempt from cooperating with the Holy Spirit, or that we can not hinder or outright deny His power; not only in terms of being (1 Timothy 3:5; 2 Peter 1:3), but also doing all God intends through you (cf. 1 Cor 2:4). On the other hand, it does not mean we can not seek more than what is presently sufficient either (Ephesians 5:18; cf. 1 Corinthians 12:31 & 14:1). We can seek greater anointings to be and do more through prayer, along with seizing opportunities to make choices/decisions that attract greater levels of anointing in what I call “contextualized crossroads concerning Christ” (Luke 8:37).

One of the essentials to receiving more of anything one asks from God is in relation to one's current commitment to the unadulterated Gospel of the Kingdom presented in the Holy Bible. Moreover, the motivation for one seeking more, and the extent one is willing to allow God to reign in them by grace through faith has a lot to do with receiving another level in the anointing of His empowering presence. This is one reason why, in part, Yeshua said, “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33; Luke 12:31-32, Matthew 16:24, John 4:34-35, Luke 19:10, Philippians 2:5). A comparison of 2 Samuel 6:11 with 1 Samuel 4:18 and their related passages teach many principles regarding housing the anointing. A lot of times the desires of our hearts are not the desires of his heart in our asking (James 4:3; Psalm 37:4), but I have found God very faithful to “offend the mind to reveal the heart” in a customized pruning process. Who's reining in your life and to what extent- you or Yeshua? There is a rest of God that is out of this world, and available in Him. It's the Shalom of His tabernanacling Presence. However, a person will never enter in to that rest until one truly allows Him to live his life through them on his terms, and in partnership with him in the Gospel of the kingdom (Matthew 11:28-30; Luke 11:23; cf. Hebrews 3:1-4:1-16, cf. 4:2). Changing addresses won't do it. Having every thing go the way one thinks things ought to go or not will not do it. . Do you want more? Why? Are you willing to go through the breaking process of having “self” killed that He will truly be “all in all” in your experience? He wants to reign in you, and through you to touch others in powerful ways. The question is: Do you really want his reign?

It is important we not deny God's power in any area he seeks to put in order on earth as it is in heaven realizing influences from the world, the flesh, and the devil is going to operate in opposition to the Gospel of the kingdom concurrently until the final consummation. It was true in the book of Acts where there are examples of the counterfeits, and the authentic. Acts 16:16-24ff is one example where Paul, or worse the redeeming power of God could have been written off by a skeptical onlooker seeking confirmation of what he/she already believed to be true. I imagined myself being an onlooker to appreciate the complexity of the situation, and I admit the whole ordeal would have been “weird” to me using the language of students. I would like to think I would have cautiously differentiated using scripture making no snap judgments either way, and by no means discouraged people from the authentic. It's hard to really tell in hindsight. We are faced with the same challenges today, and they are not always dignified or tidy situations either. In fact, Jesus said it would be so in talking about the Kingdom of God on earth prior to its final consummation (Matthew 13:24-30; 36-43). Hopefully, one may better apprehend the nature and scope of the Gospel of the Kingdom as it pertains to Messiah redeeming the intended purpose of reigning through Man with this balanced understanding. He wants to reign in you to reign through you on earth as it is in heaven. The dynamics of all that entails have not changed with the passing of the first generation apostles of Yeshua; nor have the challenges.

Reedeming Purpose (Reigning through Redeemed Man)

Jehovah God (Who Is eternal Father, Son/Word, and Holy Spirit) redeemed mankind from sin, death and hell reconciling them to himself through his death/blood giving those trusting Him eternal life (cf Acts 20:28), and in order to reign in, through, and with man. He wants to reign through you. This first requires one receiving Yeshua as your personal Passover Lamb (John 6:53), and being born again (John 3:3; See “The Need Redeeming People”). Moreover, Jesus said there are only two camps: those who partner with him in the Gospel of the Kingdom ministry, and those who do not (Matthew 12:30; cf. Genesis 19:26; Luke 9:62). Those truly identifying with him take up their cross daily (Matthew 16:24, cf. John 4:34-35, Luke 19:10), which is why, in part, leaders coming later admonished God followers to have the same attitude of Christ (Philippians 2:5). Messiah Jesus wants to reign in you to touch others through your life, and through you. Jesus modeled this, directed those he mentored, and instructed those he mentored to disciple future citizens in the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in the same manner.

Throughout this page are examples of Jesus demonstrating the authority and dominion man had in the beginning before sin and death entered. Yeshua demonstrated his authority and dominion over nature. Fish obeyed Him (Luke 5:4-8). The wind and the waves obeyed Him (Luke 8:24, Matthew 13:26, Mark 4:3 & Matthew 14:24-33, Mark 6:47-52, John 6:16-21). Yeshua demonstrated authority and dominion over resources, and performed creative miracles. (Matthew 14:15-21, Mark 6:35-44, Luke 9:13-17, Matthew 15:32-38, Mark 8:1-2) Yeshua demonstrated his authority and dominion over the sprits of infirmity, sickness, and disease. Many examples of Yeshua demonstrating his power and authority over sin, sickness, disease, and even death were cited elsewhere, and where Jesus himself attributed these demonstrations of his power and authority over such things to the Gospel of the Kingdom of God (See the section above entitled, “Redeeming People“). Not only that, Jesus instructed those identifying with him to be, do, and teach the same in the power of His Holy Spirit based upon his word; not inconsistent or unexpected outcomes in our personal experience. Not even the first century disciples had one-hundred percent success in their experience (Mark 9:29). Even so, they were sent as Yeshua was sent (John 17:18; John 20:21 ) . See also Matthew 10:1-42, Mark 6:7-12, and Luke 9:1-5. He gave them power and authority to bind, lose, and impart/minister the forgiveness available only through Yeshua in His Church (Matthew 18:18-19, Luke 11:20, Matthew 16:19, John 20:22-23).

Jesus sent his followers out with the "already/not yet" gospel of the kingdom message/demonstration before (Luke 9:1-2). It is noteworthy that people do not need to be liberated from sin's effects, demonic influence or be healed "by his stripes" in heaven- In other words, the Bible indicates there is no sin, sickness, or death in heaven. This is why, in part, Jesus instructed those following him to pray for God's kingdom to come "on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10)-to loose/bind on earth what is already loosed/bound in heaven. Moreover, appropriating abundant life in this present world system now can only be realized when prioritizing first the pursuit of the kingdom of God (Cf. Matthew 6:33), which is closely connected with the gospel. After Yeshua's death/resurrection he instructed his followers to teach "them" (those who would embrace the gospel message through their witness) "everything I have commanded you" (those Jesus personally discipled)-(Matthew 28:20). Does "everything" leave anything out? (cf. Mark 16:15-20). This illustrates a current gospel of the kingdom dynamic to be appropriated by faith on earth as it is in heaven prior to the final consummation of God's kingdom associated with the second coming of Jesus (Cf. Daniel 7:27; Matthew 24)

As a side, ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit is a vital part of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. What a wonderful thing and joy it is to be a part of others being set free as directed by the Lord Jesus, especially having been healed/delivered one's self. Even so, the greater joy is the miracle of being born of God through the cross of Messiah Yeshua and the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 10:20).

Reedeming Purpose (Reigning with Redeemed Man)

The Tenachk reveals there would be two messianic visitations. Messiah would first come in a suffering-servant role proclaiming the favor, to make an end of transgression through His substitutionary death, be resurrected, ascend to the Holy of Holies in heaven, and send the Holy Spirit to empower those identifying with God through Yeshua to be a do all God intends on earth as it is in heaven. There would be an intermediary following the sending of the Holy Spirit A.D. 32 leading unto a global false messiah. Then, Jesus would return ushering in the kingdom's final consummation. The prophet Isaiah and Daniel were fairly clear about a suffering-servant Messiah baring the sins of the people. However, it is Daniel's book the pinpoints the Messiah's first arrival as a suffering servant (Daniel 7:27). This is significant because Jesus/Yeshua' lived on earth 5-7 centuries after these prophets, and met each criteria. Jesus was the suffering servant in Isaiah 53; a section often skipped due to the striking parallels to historical first century Yeshua' (Jesus). He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Yeshua himself quoted Daniel three times to confirm his present mission as suffering servant, and his future mission as conquering king with his second visitation. Moreover, he alluded to this “already, but not yet” gospel of the kingdom of God during his first century ministry on earth as it is in heaven often. For example, he used the parable of servant responsibility denoting two Messianic visitations (Luke 19:11-28), and clearly taught he would return in power and great glory (Matthew 24:1-32, Mark 13:1-32, and Luke 21:1-36). Another example is when Yeshua told the disciples Elijah came already in fulfillment of Malachi 3:1 (Matthew 11:14), and will come again (Matthew 17:12-13) Yeshua referring to himself as the “Son of Man” (See above) said, “Whosoever shall be ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels ” (Mark 9:38). Yeshua was already present on earth when saying this, which is another example where he indicated he would leave and return. After Yeshua was raised from the dead he allowed the disciples to verify for themselves his physical resurrection, he helped them understand the plan for two Messianic visitations (Luke 24:39-53) Interestingly, most of the recorded parables during Yeshua's first century ministry were in making direct comparisons and contrasts regarding the Kingdom of God already advancing through Messiah Yeshua, but pointing ahead to a final consummation not yet fully realized in accordance with the components mentioned on this page. In fact, the term gospel is connected with "the kingdom of God" throughout the New Testament in over fifty verses, and Jesus' parables often illustrated characteristics of the good news of God's kingdom in "already/not yet" terms (Matthew 13, 20, 22, 25; Luke 13, 19).

Studying these kingdom parables in Biblical and geographical context reveals Jesus used many physical things and concepts from the culture of the audience he addressed when using these word pictures to help the listener apprehend the qualities, characteristics, requirements for citizenship and responsibilities of the Kingdom of God. Therefore, learning all you can about first century Jewish life relative to her past/future history and the geography where Jesus ministered is helpful in bringing out interesting nuances. For example, Jesus used seed and soil (Mark 4:26-29), wheat and tares (Matthew 13:24, cf. Matthew 13:36-43), mustard seed (Matthew 13:31-32, Mark 4:30-32, Luke 13:19), a leavened loaf (Matthew 13:33-35), hidden treasure (Matthew 13:44), a valuable pearl (Matthew 13:44-46), a dragnet (Matthew 13:47-50), household (Matthew 13:51-52), forgiveness (Matthew 18:35), landowner (Matthew 20:1-16), and wedding feast (Matthew 22:2). Even subjects traditionally thought of as principles for empowered Christian living or empowered "Christian ethics" are directly related to the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as it pertains to relating rightly and righteous rule on earth as it is in heaven.

Unfortunately, many people misunderstood the prophesies made by the prophets predating historical Jesus regarding Messiah Yeshua's visitations, and his unique mission for each. For example, the Pharisees asked when the kingdom of God would come, and Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation . . . the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20-21) As mentioned above, John the Baptist was a great man of faith who was not delivered, and also misunderstood the timing of the kingdom (Matthew 11:3ff; Luke 7:18). He seemingly couldn't understand why others were “already” being set free, and he was “not yet” being freed (Matthew 11:6). The disciples misunderstood the times and seasons for the final consummation of the kingdom (Matthew 24:3 Luke 24:45-47), and continued to ask for Messiah Yeshua's return even when they realized he would be coming a second time (Acts 1:6-8).

No one knows when Jesus will return exactly, and beware of those who claim they do know exactly. Jesus did say he would return soon, to be faithful and ready, and that “this gospel of the kingdom of God” would be preached unto the ends of the earth” before the final consummation of the kingdom would be ushered in with his second coming (Matthew 24:14). During the interim Messiah Jesus wants to reign in you to touch others through your life, and through you that they would be redeemed citizens in the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

Reedeming Plan (Reigning In Through & With Redeemed Man)

The theme of Jesus' mission, ministry and message is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God (Luke 4:43), and it was a full gospel all predicated upon Messiah's ransom for sinners. He was "Heaven in the real world" declaring, AND demonstrating the good news of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 4:17, 23; Mark 1:14; Luke 8:1). In fact, Jesus Himself not only attributed Isaiah's use of the term good news, or gospel to himself saying, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor" (Isaiah 61:1-2a; Luke 4:18-21). He DEMONSTRATED it by living in perfect passive/active obedience according to Gospel of the Kingdom principles, and baring the fruit of the Holy Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, self-control). He DEMONSTRATED it by binding up the broken hearted, setting people free in various ways, and proclaiming the year of the Lord's favor.

Yeshua was controversial during the first century accused of being a drunkard (perhaps because people he spent time with drank alcoholic grape juice), and a whore monger for allowing another controversial person wipe his feet with her hair (John 12:3). On another occasion another woman anointed Jesus with expensive oil in preparation for his burial, which was an example of extravagant worship in the history of the Gospel of the kingdom (Matthew 26:6-13; Mark 14:3-9). While having no sin and hating sin himself, he loved sinners (Matthew 11:19). The same misunderstandings exist today regarding those partnering with the Lord Jesus in “This gospel of the kingdom” (John 15:20; John 12:26) along with opportunities to make choices/decisions that attract anointings in what I call “contextualized crossroads concerning Christ (Luke 8:37). Yeshua is to be our Master, our model for kingdom living, and our model for ministry. He said- “Go to all peoples and baptize them in the one name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe everything I commanded you” (Matthew 28:19).

The good news of the kingdom of God was already in their midst when Jesus appropriated the gospel of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven as he went about destroying the works of the devil in his servant role as a man under the law to redeem mankind condemned under the law (Philippians 2, Galatians 4:4-6; 1 John 3:8). However, he did not usher in the greatly anticipated universal messianic rule at that time. Yet, the gospel of the kingdom of God was "already" in their midst in the sense of redeeming man from the penalty of sin and power of sin to be and do all God intends past, present, and future. Messiah rule on the personal level is Yeshua reigning in a person, which includes liberating from bondage, empowering one to live above their circumstances, and enabling to be holy. Moreover, the Gospel of the Kingdom of God was, and is “already” manifest whenever Messiah Yeshua reins through a person to touch the lives of others in powerful ways, convict the world of sin (not by being a jerk, but as a result of God's indwelling presence), and being a light in a dark place. In fact, a person following God through Jesus alone is supposed to exercise authority and dominion in their sphere of influence wherever they go IN ACCORDANCE WITH KINGDOM PRINCIPLES as Jesus explained in the New Testament scriptures. Therefore, exercising authority and dominion is not indicative, or mean by physical force, or military coreson (See Ephesians 6:12). In fact, the Good News of the Kingdom of God is not yet fully realized in the sense of dissolving all governments, establishing messianic rule in political terms, and restoring all things as intended in the beginning in accordance with God's expressed and permissive will without compromising either (Hebrews 2:8; cf. Genesis 3:15, Ephesians 1:22 & Romans 16:22). One day Messiah Yeshua will return and usher in the final consummation of the kingdom of God (Zechariah 12:10; Psalm 22:16). And, God's people, consisting of a remnant of redeemed Jews and Gentiles, will rein with Messiah Yeshua over all things at that time.

Please read Matthew 24 carefully so that you not confuse Yeshua's second coming and messianic rule with the coming antichrist who the Bible reveals will present himself as a global problem solver, messiah or “savior” at a time when global solutions are needed.

Conclusion

God in Messiah Yeshua redeems those who will accept it from the penalty and power of sin past, present and future in order to reign in, through, and with his people, consisting of a remnant of redeemed Jews and Gentiles, empowering them to be and do all God intended in the beginning under his kingship by grace through faith. Moreover, there are two kingdoms engaged in this ongoing struggle leading up to the final consummation of the kingdom of God on every level: darkness and light. You are either in one kingdom or another whether realizing it or not. Know this: if God was able to bring the promises to pass regarding his incarnation with his first visitation, he is able to bring the promises to pass pertaining to his glorification with his second coming. Very soon in the Lord's reckoning the “bruised heal” or “seed of the woman” identified as He-the Messiah will ultimately crush all in opposition to the kingdom of God (Genesis 3:15). You have the opportunity right now to commit to the Kingdom of God having your sins washed away and your name written in the Book of Life by accepting his ransom, giving your life to Jesus and following Him as Messiah and Lord. God loves you, believes in you, has a plan and purpose for you in His kingdom "on earth as it is in heaven." In fact, God loves us so much that he sent his unique Son to die for us while we were all sinners (Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:10). He doesn't wait for us to become good enough. That's the point. We were and are bankrupt to reedem outselves. Yet, He said He would draw all mankind to himself through his redemptive death on the cross (John 12:32), and those coming to him in repentance He would never turn away (John 6:37). But, the option to believe confirmed by placing your total allegiance and trust in Yeshua is yours. He loves each one of us, but will honor your choice to receive or not receive eternal life found exclusively through Messiah Yeshua. This is a season where God in Messiah Yeshua is extending his hand to you. I would not wait because this window of opportunity to respond to the drawing and conviction of the Holy Spirit is not always going to be open. Don't grieve the Holy Spirit by resisting Him for as it was in the days of Noah, the window of grace and forgiveness will one day be suddenly closed shut to those on the outside. There are no more options if you die in your sins. It is appointed for a person to die once and then judgment that is set for eternity. Being forever tormented in the absence of anything good, ongoing hopelessness and the heaviness of never-ending despair is hard to fathom in the current context where it rains on both good and bad. The days of two opposing kindoms coexisting is not forevor though. Yeshua could return during your lifetime, or your physical body could die prematurly. Please do not take tomorrow for granted for it may never come for you. Those of us having already received redemption from the penalty of sin by grace through faith need to stop grieving the Holy Spirit in the many ways we do so in order to allow Messiah to effectually rein in, and through us to touch others exercising kingdom authority and dominion over our current affairs in our spheres of influence. Understand, God's people through Messiah Yeshua's redemptive blood will rein with him in the joy of His kingdom, and how that will translate has a lot to do with our way, our stewardship, and our faithfulnes under Messiah Yeshua's kingship in the present age. That's the meat of the matter.

In the end, every knee will bow to Messiah Yeshua, men will beat their swords into plowshares (Isaiah 2:4; Micah 4:2-3), and the lion will lay down with the lamb one day very soon in the Lord's reckoning (Isaiah 65:17ff)! Lord and Messiah Yeshua come!
